‘The provision of high quality information, advice and guidance is outstanding.’ ISI Report 2015

This is an excellent way of gaining desirable academic qualifications very quickly. The programme is carefully designed for students who:

  • have studied in the UK or abroad and wish to enter an A Level or IB programme
  • are exceptionally strong and are wishing to progress quickly
  • are ready for intensive work covering a two year syllabus in three terms
  • want to re-sit a year to improve their grades

This is the traditional UK timeframe and enables students to optimise their academic potential within a very personal online teaching environment. Students are able to develop a passion for each subject of their choice and, with intensive teacher support, stay focused and achieve top grades. This is ideal for students who wish to thrive academically.

Created for those international students who wish to have a taster of UK education for one or two terms, these programmes provide an opportunity to improve language and subject knowledge, acquire new study skills and have the academic experience of a lifetime. Detailed monthly reports based on regular assessment are provided. It is an excellent way to sample the UK education system within the comfort of your own home.

If for whatever reason students have not done as well as they or the school wanted them to, LTC is happy to accept students to give them a second chance within a small group, providing intensive study.

We can assist any students studying with us with their A level and IGCSE/GCSE examinations.

Students can choose which subjects they study at GCSE but they should be aware that if they narrow their choice at this level by omitting a subject, it may affect their A level options. We offer 25 GCSE subjects.

  • geography
  • business studies
  • information computer technology (ICT)

The number of academic subjects depends on the selected course and individual needs: usually courses consist of 4-6 hours of online personal tutor contact per academic subject per week. The number of English lessons depends on individual level of proficiency and requirements. There is a possibility of scheduling additional lessons outside the set courses. The times of classes are flexible and can be adapted to specific requirements and time zones, subject to tutor availability.
