We are a non-selective independent tutorial college which delivers high quality interactive online courses in real time through expert tutors, many of whom have taught with us for years. However, as we wish every student to optimise his or her potential and enter lessons at the right level, we look at school reports, interview and conduct a basic assessment to determine the best possible support. This enables us to tailor-make programmes to suit the individual needs of every student.

academic & language

For academic programmes, we are happy to accept both boys and girls from England or any other part of the world, between ages 14 to 19. International students will require a minimum equivalent of IELTS score of 4.0-4.5 for GCSE/IGCSE and 5.0 – 5.5 for A level. Students are expected to have a higher level of English for fast track options. LTC will carry out own English assessments, if required, to determine the language level for those whose English is not their first language. Students entering GCSE and A level courses will be required to submit copies of reports from their current school or college and do a subject assessment, if studying core subjects.

entry times

Our courses are set on weekly or termly units. Academic as well as short courses or EAT programmes start on Mondays and end on Fridays.

Entry is all year round depending on every student’s needs and requirements. With the online provision, students who have missed the start of a course, may have a chance to receive a recording of the missed lessons or access class notes and other resources.
