We are a non-selective independent tutorial college. However, as we wish every student to optimise his or her potential and enter lessons at the right level, we look at school reports, interview in person or via Skype and conduct a basic assessment to determine the best possible support. This enables us to tailor-make programmes to suit the individual needs of every student.

academic & language

For academic programmes, we are happy to accept both boys and girls from England or any other part of the world, between ages 9 to 19. International students will require a minimum equivalent of IELTS score of 4.0-4.5 for GCSE/IGCSE and 5.0 – 5.5 for A level. Students are expected to have a higher level of English for fast track options. LISC will carry out own English assessments in writing and via skype, if required, to determine the language level. Students entering GCSE and A level courses will be required to submit copies of reports from their current school or college and do a subject assessment, if studying core subjects.

entry times

Our courses are set on weekly or termly units.

Academic as well as short courses or EAT programmes start on Mondays and end on Fridays. On Saturdays students take part in our Saturday projects.

If accommodation is needed, this is also calculated on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday.

Entry is all year round depending on every student’s needs and requirements.
